Advanced Research Workshop
is organized by the University of Salford (United Kingdom) and
Institute of Molecular Biology NAS RA (National Academy of Sciences of Republic of Armenia).
The BRITE Workshop aims to:
- Establish the current state-of-the-art and advance the development of robust field-friendly
biomarkers of radiation
exposure of humans and the environment.
- Foster the development of new research collaborations to take forward the development of robust biomarkers.
- Explore the practicalities of operationalising biomarker usage within NATO response strategies.
To achieve these aims, the BRITE Workshop is bringing together professionals from a variety of fields,
including radioecology, radiobiology, ecotoxicology, biomarker development and radiation protection.
The Workshop will take place in
Yerevan, Armenia, on 28-30 November, 2017
